 Cheryl Gillan,MP for Chesham and Amersham Cheryl Gillan will once again be representing the residents of Chalfont St Peter having been returned as MP for Chesham and Amersham at the general election. Cheryl secured 31,658 or 60.4% of votes cast,up 6.8% on the last general election and a majority of 16,710. The turnout was 74.6%. Thank you to all who voted for Cheryl and to all those who helped during her campaigning. Conservative candidate for Chesham and Amersham,Cheryl Gillan,was out and about in Chalfont St Peter last Saturday meeting constituents and answering their questions. Cheryl’s walkabout took in Market Place and the precinct where she also took the opportunity to talk to shoppers and shopkeepers,culminating in time spent talking to people in Budgens. Talking about Chalfont St Peter,Cheryl said:‘It’s a beautiful village with a charming High Street.
